Hi! I´m Dario, the ideator and creator of this project. I made this virtual museum out of passion for art and technology during the last lockdown. I´m interested in Augmented Reality, GIS, drones, and cultural heritage sciences. I have more than 10 years of experience in these fields. I hope you will enjoy the visit to the darteq museum.

Virtual space is taking more space than ever and since a relaxed visit to museum is out of reach take a walk to remember in an imaginary villa with eight different virtual rooms and a majestic "Italian garden". You’ll find yourself surrounded by more than 100 famous paintings from different centuries ready to be admired and explored at your own pace. The virtual museum is based on Philippe Daverio’s book, "Il Museo Immaginato". He was one of the greatest art historian in Italy that imagined the museum in his book and I made it real. I created this project to honor his memory.
